FRANKLIN'S BEST KEPT SECRET SHOULD BE SHARED

The view is NNE through West through SSE and is approximately 220 degrees for 17 miles.

Above left is a Christmas 2004 photograph facing south at the Battle of Franklin Winstead Hill with ice crystals in all the trees for as far as you can see. The unique flat topped hill on the horizon is in the Battle of Franklin area. The rose in a crystal vase was placed on the deck railing 260 feet over downtown Historic Franklin, Tennessee, using the sunset as the background. All the above sunset pictures have been televised by Lelan Statom on CBS News Channel 5 or by Tim Ross on NBC WSMV Channel 4 who frequently show photographs taken from this unique vantage point. The view from the main deck was used in 2001 as the backdrop setting for an audition tape that appeared on the LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY Show July and December 2001. In addition, the mayor of Franklin, The Honorable Tom Miller, asked permission of the homeowner to see "his town" from this deck; it was a panoramic view he could not find anywhere else in this historic town.

Historic downtown Franklin lies nestled hidden in trees west and straight off the deck in the heart of these magnificent Tennessee sunset views.
